10 Questions On Room Color: Answers For Workplace Designers
Keywords

Abstract
Can the color of a workplace influence employees' moods? Can certain room colors increase or decrease workers' performance? In this article, we examine these and eight other questions related to room color. We present a partial review of the literature for each question and then examine the literature in the context of workplace design. In many cases, the scientific literature reveals that commonly held beliefs about room color are inaccurate. In a few instances, though, careful selection of a workplace's color may slightly enhance a business' productivity and/or employees' satisfaction.
