A Liquid Crystal Based Fourier Optical Spectrum Analyzer
Abstract
We propose a liquid crystal based Fourier optical spectrum analyzer without moving parts. It can retrieve and recover the envelope of the DWDM spectrum to act as a channel power monitor in fiber-optic communication systems. © 2003 Optical Society of America.
