Control Of Swarming Uavs In Collaborative Missions
Keywords

Abstract
Using the concept inspired by the social insects, researchers have been studying the applications of swarming UAVs. The idea is to use a group of low-cost simple UAVS to conduct certain missions with robustness and cost effectiveness. This research studies the use of a swarm of UAVs to survey an area. The focus is on finding the optimal combination of number of UAVs and their initial positions. Genetic Algorithm is used to search for the better solution sets.
