Title
High Contrast Reflective Display Using A Polymer-Dispersed Liquid Crystal
Abstract
Polymer-dispersed liquid crystal confined in a thin 90° twisted cell (T-PDLC) exhibits an enhanced contrast ratio due to the surface anchoring effect. A black and white polarizer-free reflective display using a dye-doped T-PDLC is demonstrated.
