Highly Distributed Resource Discovery And Allocation In The Grid
Abstract
We introduce a distributed protocol for resource allocation and scheduling in the computational grid using programmable networking hardware. The proposed protocol eliminates the current resource broker system and gives autonomy to the task packets. Thus, resource allocation responsibility is distributed over the routers on the Internet.
