Title
Deriving Haptic Design Guidelines From Human Physiological, Psychophysical, And Neurological Foundations
Abstract
An overview is given of the conditions under which haptic interaction displays can enhance human perception and performance. The guiding principles and issues associated with haptic interaction devices as well as haptics design guidelines for multimodal interactive systems are highlighted.
