Title
Optically Written Displays Based On Up-Conversion Of Near Infrared Light
Abstract
Up-conversion based optically written displays were analyzed. The analysis suggested scaling rules for the optically written displays. The effects of the pump intensity and duration on the visible light output and the up-conversion efficiency were also modeled. Experimental predictions indicated that the up-conversion efficiency depended on the pump intensity. The relationship is used for the design of a better pumping scheme for dispersed crystallite up-conversion display (DCUCD).
