Pump-Probe Measurements Of Multiwavelength Ultrafast Gain Dynamics In A Semiconductor Optical Amplifier
Abstract
The ultrafast gain dynamics of a semiconductor optical amplifier is measured under phase-correlated multiwavelength pulse amplification. Four-wave mixing, carrier heating and carrier cooling effects are observed and shown to enhance the phase correlation. © 2003 Optical Society of America.
