Random-Phase Solitons In Nonlinear Periodic Lattices
Abstract
We present the first theoretical study and experimental demonstration of random-phase solitons (RPS) in nonlinear periodic lattices. For RPS to exist, their intensity profile and statistical (coherence) properties must conform to the lattice periodicity. © 2003 Optical Society of America.
