Title

A Services Supply Chain Framework

Keywords

Service management; Services supply chain management; Supply chain management

Abstract

Processes to implement a services supply chain management (SCM) framework are absent within current research and supply chain literature. A review of the most common supply chain frameworks highlights the current inadequacies in fulfilling the needs of the services industry. This research fills the obvious void by providing a services supply chain framework based on the current Supply Chain Council formats including basic vocabulary, business processes, knowledge capture and metrics. The resulting framework was tested using rigorous case analysis to establish validity and further verified by industry experts.
