Power Scaling Of Laser Systems Using Spectral Beam Combining With Volume Bragg Gratings In Ptr Glass
Abstract
Laser system power can be increased using volume Bragg gratings in PTR glass to combine multiple beams into a near-diffraction-limited beam. We present results of combining five fiber lasers and show achievability of multi-kW-level systems. ©2007 Optical Society of America.
