Title
Optical Frequency Self Stabilization In A Coupled Optoelectronic Oscillator
Abstract
The technique of incorporating a high finesse Fabry-Perot etalon (FPE) for optical frequency stabilization and supermode suppression of an actively, harmonically modelocked laser has been combined with the basic coupled optoelectronic oscillator (COEO) design to produce a completely self contained optical frequency stabilized COEO. In this way the nominal COEO frequency, the stability of the optical frequencies, and the long term stability of the COEO signal are all referenced to a single intracavity high finesse FPE. © 2007 IEEE.
