Title
A Multiobjective Modeling Approach For Joint Maintenance And Spare Parts Inventory Policy Optimization
Keywords

Abstract
The effective management of spare parts inventories remains a challenge for many organizations. The failure of a part can cause high downtime costs if spares are not available. However, maintaining high spares inventories often results in increased inventory costs. The main function of spare parts inventories is to support maintenance activities; consequently, spare part inventory policies and maintenance policies are highly interrelated. In this paper, we present a multiobjective formulation for joint maintenance and spare parts inventory policy optimization for a single-part, two-echelon inventory system with a single supplier and n customers.
