High Dynamic Range, Cascaded-Focus Nanosecond Optical Limiter
Abstract
Presented in a new optical limiter clamped the output energy 1 μJ for input energies up to the maximum available incident energy of 5.5 mJ. In principle, the output energy should remain clamped for considerably higher input energies. The dynamic range of the limiter is at least 1600.
