Abstract
Cervical disorders affect up to 70% of the population and have a recurrence rate of up to 38%. Researchers have reported an association between impaired muscle performance of the deep neck flexors and cervical disorders. The authors present a three stage program designed to improve strength, endurance, and activation of the deep neck flexors that is applicable to the broad athletic population. © National Strength and Conditioning Association.
