Pretilt Angle Effects On Liquid Crystal Response Time
Abstract
Analytical expressions for correlating LC response time with pretilt angle are derived. The theoretical analysis is consistent with experimental results using vertically-aligned LC cells. This study improves the understanding of liquid crystal dynamic process which is helpful for optimizing liquid crystal response time. © 2007 SID.
