Supermode Suppression And Frequency Locking Of A Harmonically Modelocked Laser By External Optical Injection
Abstract
We report on supermode noise suppression of a harmonically modelocked laser by CW optical injection. Supermode noise spurs were reduced 20 dB to -130 dBc/Hz, and the optical spectrum became locked to the injected wavelength. © 2006 Optical Society of America.
