Abstract
Novel transflective LCD architecture and its driving schemes are suggested. Using the color sequential method for transmissive mode with an LED backlight, many great advantages would be achieved such as increased image brightness and maximized color saturation for both transmissive and reflective modes, and easier fabrication for higher manufacturing yield. © Copyright 2006 Society for Information Display.
