Title
High Performance Dye-Doped Cholesteric Liquid Crystal Lasers
Abstract
A high performance dye-doped cholesteric liquid crystal (CLC) laser pumped by second harmonic Nd-YAG laser is demonstrated. By incorporating external passive CLC reflectors, the light efficiency is enhanced while the beam divergence is reduced significantly. © 2006 Optical Society of America.
