Abstract
Supply Chain Management (SCM) has raised attention in recent years. Successful SCM depends on how well an organization performs internal and external communications. The use of information technology (IT) is considered a prerequisite for effective control of today's complex supply chains. IT facilitates the creation of value. However, the creation of value is defined by different groups of stakeholders. Therefore, stakeholders must be integrated into this process of change that uses IT as the enabler. This paper presents a unique value mapping framework that includes the effective involvement of stakeholders when seeking higher level of supply chain performance.
