Title
Near-Field Imaging Of Infrared Antennas
Abstract
Far-field radiation at 28.3 THz is coupled into a coplanar strip line using a dipole antenna. A scattering-type scanning near-field optical microscope is used to measure the electric field distribution on the transmission line. The standing wave equation is fitted to the measured data and the attenuation and propagation constants are determined. © 2010 Optical Society of America.
