Distinguished Student Poster Paper: Sunlight Readable Transmissive Lcds
Abstract
We propose a novel sunlight readable transmissive LCD embedded with a transflective film. Such a transflective film has high transmittance to the backlight and high reflectance to the ambient light. This new display is particularly suitable for mobile displays under strong ambient light condition.
