Abstract
This presentation is an overview of the findings from June 21 to 22, 2010 American Ceramic Society Leadership Summit and a personal perspective on the economic issues and technical feasibility of achieving breakthrough technologies in the business segments of Energy and Healthcare. The top 10 rankings from an extensive listing of 100 potentially important ceramic, glass and glass-ceramic technologies were all in the Energy and Healthcare Sectors of business.
