Coherent Optical Technologies For Free-Space Optical Communication And Sensing
Abstract
Coherent optical detection enabled by digital signal processing (DSP) can be applied to free-space optical communication and sensing. Applications including electronic wavefront correction for communication and diffraction-limited laser energy delivery through turbulent atmosphere will be discussed. © 2011 Optical Society of America.
