Title
Cascaded Plasmon Resonances For Enhanced Ultrafast Nonlinear Optical Switching

Surface plasmon resonances on metallic nanostructures produce strongly enhanced third order nonlinear susceptibilities, while adding linear loss. We show that the use of cascaded resonances enables improved figures of merit for nonlinear switching. © 2011 Optical Society of America.
