Two-Photon Emission In Direct-Gap Semiconductors
Abstract
We performed a theoretical study of extreme nondegenerate two-photon stimulated emission in direct-bandgap semiconductors. We predict orders of magnitude enhancement with respect to the degenerate case. Evidence in support of this comes from 2-photon absorption measurements. © OSA/ CLEO 2011.
