Title
P-214L: Late-News Poster: Color Dispersion Of A Blue Phase Liquid Crystal
Abstract
Color dispersion of a polymer-stabilized blue phase liquid crystal (BPLC) is investigated. The measured Kerr constant decreases as the wavelength increases. The VT curves of an IPS-based BP-LCD are similar to those of a vertical-aligned nematic cell. This dispersion property is important for adjusting the RGB gamma settings. © 2011 SID.
