Can Quadratic Solitons Self-Accelerate?
Abstract
We present accelerating self-trapped first- and second-harmonic beams in a phased-matched quadratic process. The acceleration results from the inner structure of the beams, which exhibit unique properties such as asynchronous interference and irregular power distribution. © 2011 OSA.
