Tunable Opto-Electronic Oscillator With An Intracavity Fabry-Perot Etalon
Abstract
An optically tunable optoelectronic oscillator(OEO) scheme with 1000 finesse intracavity Fabry-Perot etalon is demonstrated at 10GHz. Optical single side band modulation is implemented and resulted in 10-20dB higher SNR than standard dual side band modulation. ©2010 IEEE.
