Rotating Microparticles And Bacteria With Optical Propelling Beams
Abstract
We demonstrate optical trapping and rotation of microparticles and bacteria with propelling beams. The rotation is achieved in a tweezers-like setting and fully controlled by SLM without the need of mechanical movement or phase-sensitive interference. © 2012 Optical Society of America.
