Abstract
We demonstrate a submillisecond-response tunable-focus cylindrical microlens array based on polymer network liquid crystal. The focal length can be tuned from 1.9 cm to 5 cm by increasing the voltage from 0 to 80V. This microlens array has potential applications in autostereoscopic 3D displays. © 2013 Society for Information Display.
