Title
Efficient Disc-To-Fiber Multimaterial Stacked Coextrusion For Robust Infrared Optical Fibers
Abstract
We introduce a multimaterial fiber preform coextrusion methodology that enables the production of robust infrared glass fibers starting from two 10-mm-diameter, 3-mm-thick chalcogenide glass discs by one-step extrusion followed by traditional fiber drawing. © OSA 2013.
