Thomson Scattering From Aluminum Laser Plasmas In Air
Abstract
Thomson scattering is reported for the first time to measure the electron density and temperature of aluminum laser plasma in air. Electron and excitation temperatures are compared to discuss local thermodynamic equilibrium in such plasmas. © 2013 The Optical Society.
