Enhanced Ultraviolet Upconversion Emission Using Nanocavities
Abstract
We investigate the upconversion emission spectra of Tm3+ and Yb3+ codoped: ß-NaYF4-NaYF4 core-shell nanoparticles embedded in plasmonic nanocavities. The results confirm the role of nanocavities in maximizing the conversion efficiency from the NIR to UV.
