Optical Fiber Curvature Sensors Based On Single Mode-7 Core-Single Mode Fiber Structures
Abstract
A novel curvature sensor based on multicore fiber is presented. This device allows for optical interrogation by either fringe visibility or spectral shift. Experimental results show a repeatable, very stable and high sensitivity fiber sensor. © 2014 OSA.
