Effective Temperature Of Optically-Controlled Active Media
Abstract
The interaction between light and matter allows for selective excitation into nonequilibrium states. Using spatially and temporally-varying potentials in activcolloidal systems we demonstrate control of diffusion and effective temperatures for particles atthermodynamic equilibrium. © 2014 OSA.
