Ultra-Fast Motion Of Optically Driven Metallic Nanoparticles
Abstract
The temperature of absorbing particles changes under external illumination. In turn, this temperature distribution modifies the viscosity properties of the surrounding fluid leading to nonstationary dynamics and to ultra-fast optically induced motion of particles. © 2014 OSA.
