Abstract
Creating curricula is a fundamental responsibility of college instructors. This paper explores three course development strategies (initial course planning, course evaluation, and course revision) as well as three pedagogical issues (addressing learning styles, teaching for cognition, and online instruction) as applied to the not-for-profit community college academic plan. Several books, journal articles, and Web resources comprise the source material. Implications for practice are discussed. © Common Ground, Thomas D. Cox, Darren Lacoste 2014.
