Abstract
Scenario overview A 29-year-old morbidly obese man is brought in by EMS with severe respiratory distress. He reports cough, sore throat and worsening asthma symptoms. His wife says he has been worsening over the past 5 days. Over the past several hours he has been using his pump every hour with minimal relief. About an hour ago he began to become confused and his wife called 911. Teaching objectives/discussion points Clinical and medical management.
