Feasible Adaptive Recursive Least Square Frequency- Domain Algorithm For Equalization Of Mode-Division Multiplexed Fiber Transmission
Abstract
We propose an overlap-save-based adaptive recursive-least-square frequency-domain equalization (RLS-FDE) for mode-division-multiplexing fiber-link. It has manageable computation complexity and is robust with laser phase noise. Its performance was simulated on two-mode transmission in comparison to LMS-FDE. © 2015 OSA.
