Towards A Coupled Opto-Electronic Oscillator With Independently Stabilized Frequency And Repetition Rate
Abstract
We propose a novel scheme for a coupled opto-electronic oscillator that decouples optical frequency fluctuations and mode spacing fluctuations, allowing for independent stabilization. This is achieved using three filtered regions of the optical spectrum to generate error signals and providing feedback to appropriate cavity parameters.
