Quantum Dots Enhanced Vivid Color Liquid Displays
Abstract
We demonstrated two types of dielectrophoretic liquid displays with patterned quantum dots array for achieving highly saturated colors. These polarizer-free liquid displays offer high transmittance, wide view, modest response time and contrast ratio, and vivid colors. They are promising candidates for e- book and mobile display applications.
