A Restorative Strategy For Resilient Unbalanced Power Distribution Networks
Abstract
In this paper, we propose a restorative method to minimize the unserved demand in a unbalanced power distribution network due to line outage. The restoration is achieved by tie-line switching and by solving a mixed-integer nonlinear problem. By exploiting the information on pre-contingency solution, topology together with post-contingency line congestion requirements and in combination with an improved greedy search algorithm, a method is proposed which reduces the search space of the combinatorial problem. Case studies on IEEE 34-bus distribution network is presented to illustrate the results and validate the performance of the proposed method.
