Tomographic Coaxial Scanning Microscopy Using A Conical Lens (Axicon)
Abstract
A new form of tomographic coaxial scanning microscopy is proposed by replacing the standard lens in confocal microscopy with a conical lens (axicon) that generates pencil-like illumination and detection along lines through the object.
