Transmission Of Rf/Microwave Signals Using Few-Mode Fibers
Abstract
Few-mode fibers offer high optical power handling capability that enables improvement of the RF gain, noise figure and dynamic range of analog fiber-optic links. We demonstrate the advantages in both single-channel and WDM transmission over few-mode fiber links.
