Non-Permanent Graded-Index Waveguide-Inscription In Bulk Chalcogenides
Abstract
Conventional waveguide-writing techniques in bulk chalcogenides rely on permanent photo-structural changes, which lead to ridge-like guiding channels. Here, we demonstrate nonpermanent opto-thermally induced graded-index waveguides in As2Se3 glass.
