New Generation Attosecond X-Ray Light Sources
Abstract
Isolated X-ray pulses as short as 53 as with photon energy reaching the carbon K-edge were generated by sub-cycle gating. The X-ray sources is driven by a carrier-envelope phase stable laser centered at 1.7 μm.
