Dynamics Of Nanoparticles Trapped On An Integrated Slot Waveguide With A High Index Contrast
Abstract
We study the trapping dynamics of a nanoparticle near an on-chip waveguide. Due to localized optical field enhancement on waveguide sidewalls, multiple trapping paths are identified, with a critical area where particle trapping is unstable.
