Broadband Mode-Group Mixing Via Spatial Phase Masks Printed On Fiber Facet
Abstract
We introduce a novel, low loss and compact mode scrambler, printed directly on fibertip. The device is optimized to achieve a desired inter-mode-group mixing level at minimum loss for achieving strong mixing in FMF links.
