Observation Of Coherent Perfect Absorption In A Short-Length Weakly Absorbing Fiber
Abstract
We predict and experimentally confirm that a moderately-doped few-centimeter-long fiber can completely absorb an incoming beam, if the fiber is placed in a properly-designed cavity that satisfies the requirements for coherent perfect absorption.
